October Feature: Hocus Pocus!
Nobody expects your toddler to sit still.
Grab your little witches, goblins, and wild things and join us at The Understory for a cozy, slightly spooky family movie night featuring the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus!
Forget sitting perfectly still in a theater seat. Bring your blankets, pillows, sleeping bags, and favorite stuffed animals, whatever your family needs to build a cozy movie-night nest on the floor! We'll have a few chairs available, but floor lounging is part of the fun.
Wiggling, talking, dancing, wandering, and little-kid noise are all welcome here. This is a movie night where families can relax, kids can be kids, and nobody has to worry about being shushed.
Costumes are encouraged! Come dressed as your favorite witch, spooky creature, or whatever your little wild thing dreams up.
And of course, what's a movie night without treats? Pop next door to The Tipsy Cow for homemade ice cream, sodas, and movie-night snacks to enjoy during the show.

Movie: Hocus Pocus (1993)
Location: The Understory, next door to The Tipsy Cow in Wartburg
Seating: Bring blankets and pillows to make your family's own cozy floor pallet. Limited chairs available.
Atmosphere: Family-friendly, wiggle-friendly, and wonderfully un-shushy!
Costumes: Encouraged, but not required.
Tickets: Adults $12 • Teens $10 • Little kids FREE
Doors Open: 5:30pm come early to pick your spot, build your cozy movie watching nest and get treats!
Movie starts: 6:00pm so we can finish up around 7:30, early enough for little ones bedtime routines.
Space is limited! Advance reservations recommended.
Please note: Hocus Pocus has a few spooky scenes that may be frightening for very young children. Parents are welcome to decide what's right for their little wild things.
